Heart of the Mountain Planner
Trial a HOTM build on the real board. Click any perk to unlock it – the planner unlocks the cheapest connecting path for you – then level it up and watch the running powder and token bill. Sync your profile to plan against your real tier, powder and tokens, or theorycraft with an unlimited budget. The whole board works from the keyboard: arrow keys move, Enter unlocks.
Data checked against SkyBlock 0.25.x – last check 3 August 2026.
Keyboard: Tab to the board, arrow keys move, Enter unlocks or inspects, +/− change level, Delete removes, Home returns to Mining Speed, Esc clears the selection.
Data and accuracy
Perk names, levels and cost tables are generated from SkyCrypt's MIT-licensed Heart of the Mountain model at a pinned commit, rather than typed in by hand. Board positions and connections were verified against an in-game screenshot of the current 10-tier board, and connections between perks are strictly orthogonal – exactly as in the game.
The Core of the Mountain is a special case: its levels draw on all three powders as they rise (from Mithril early on to Glacite at the top), and the upstream model cannot split those amounts by powder type. Its per-level numbers are shown on its panel but deliberately kept out of the powder meters – the same choice SkyCrypt makes in its own totals – rather than counted under the wrong powder.
Profile sync reads your Heart of the Mountain directly: node levels, powder balances (spent and unspent), tokens, your tier from raw HOTM XP, and your active pickaxe ability. "Earned" budgets count spent plus unspent powder, because resetting the tree refunds what is in it. Tokens of the Mountain are modelled from the tier-up and Core of the Mountain reward tables – 25 exist in total, and a full board would need 45, so the planner tells you when a spec is impossible rather than pretending otherwise. Pickaxe-ability levels follow the same tables (abilities start at level 1; Core level 2 adds one).
Not yet included: the Heart of the Forest tree. No machine-readable source for its layout and costs exists yet, and the Torrhus Canyon update changes Heart of the Forest – so rather than hand-typing numbers that are about to change, it will be added once the update lands and the data can be verified.
